Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I want to be known as someone who enjoys life. With that said, I thought it would be fitting to take a few minutes tonight to appreciate a certain thing in my life that will fade away before I know it. This year, I decided to start a wild flower garden. I know it doesn't look like much now, but I'm pretty proud of what I see when I look out the window. I have aspirations to do much more with it next year and already dream of what it will look like.
I enjoy watching things come to life and seeing the beauty that they can bring when they are in full bloom.
So many things in my life are parallel to the tending to and admiring of a garden. I think of who God has created me to be and the different seasons of beautiful bloom and then the constant need for weeding for even more beauty and strength to become more when the time is right. The constant need for water (the word) and sunshine (God Himself).
I hope that when others see me, that they see something that continues to grow like a garden that has been kept up with and worked on by a Master gardener.
Last year, my project was our front yard. The goal was to make it luscious green. Another beautiful project that took work.
