School year 2011/2012
Our 3 older sons and their cousins.
A few months ago, I took a challenge to pray for my four sons. I saw something on facebook about it and it intrigued me. The book written by Beth McGlothlin http://www.brookemcglothlin.com/warriorprayers
inspired me greatly and brought me straight to my knees with prayers for each of our sons.
Every few months, the challenge is pitched again. I posted on a few sites that I would blog about it and lead it for a group to follow.
I started wondering if this week was supposed to be a week for me not to blog,
but then I remembered the challenge that I had agreed to do.
A few minutes ago, I pulled out my book. What a fitting way to embrace the new school year.
The excitement fueled my heart.
The enemy doesn't want for me to pray these prayers over my sons and because of that, he has tried different things to discourage me from doing so.
That empowers me!!!!
You see, this book is FILLED with scripture to pray for my sons.
It starts by praying for their hearts.
JOIN ME in praying for you sons too.

his mouth speaks (Luke 6:45).

May__________draw near to God, and He will draw near to him. May he cleanse his hands and purify his
heart (James 4:8).
Create in__________a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).
May__________be like the wise man, whose heart inclines him to the right (Ecclesiastes 10:2).
