James 1:4 says - Count it all JOY
when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.I
have enjoyed waking up on Fridays to discover the topic that has been chosen for so many to blog about. I believe that EVERYTHING that happens in life has a rhyme and reason and is controlled by the Creator of the Universe.HE
knew that this is what I would be blogging about today. As I spent the last hour reflecting on what to write, this is what came to mind.
In just a few weeks, the woman at our church (http://126.96.36.199/~jroadchu/#/Home
) will be starting a new Bible study over the Fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians chapter 5.
Our pastors wife (http://adreanne.blogspot.com/
) and I are tag-team teaching this study and we are extremely hopeful for the potential growth that can come from digging deeper into His Word together.JOY is one of the fruits talked about in this passage. When you choose to believe in Jesus and what He did for you
on the cross, the Word says that His Spirit comes to live in you.
Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, Joy
, Peace, Long suffering, Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Reflect on this...
Why is it so hard for us to embrace each of these characteristics that He gives us?
