The power of Forgiving

Somehow it just seems like God would be able to overlook our unforgiving hearts when we have been innocently wronged by someone else. Truly He would understand that we have been hurt by them and because of that hurt, we have trouble forgiving.

After all, He did create us and so if He really wanted us to forgive then He would give us the desire to pursue forgiveness.

If we expect God to forgive us for the many times that we disobey or turn away, then we must also forgive others.

What is it that makes forgiveness so hard???

I believe that when you find the FREEDOM that true forgiveness brings... then you are able to understand... that the unforgiveness was really only hurting you in the first place.

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, then your heavenly Father will also forgive you, (15) but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, then neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
